House of Wrestling was established to provide a safe place for all aspiring wrestlers within a supportive community of experienced wrestlers.

Founded on the origins of freestyle wrestling, our philosophy is grounded in the pursuit of fostering sportsmanship, camaraderie, and mental and physical fortitude.

At our House, we aim to cultivate champions both on and off the mat and serve as a community to promote a sense of unity and pride in Australian wrestling.

Our mission is to enable all wrestlers to experience the artistry of combat and embrace the power within themselves.

Wrestling for Youth

House of Wrestling Youth Classes teaches the basic grappling movements of the first Olympic sport.

Our experienced Coaches teach values that last a lifetime. Wrestling is such a complex sport that involves balance, agility, hand-eye coordination, flexibility, positioning, strength, speed, explosiveness, footwork, hustle, mental focus, mental toughness, core strength, concentration, competition, and endurance.  

Wrestling as a child sets a foundation for success in life, there is no sport like wrestling that can teach some incredible values.

If you don't have experience? Awesome, our wrestling classes are for everyone no matter what your skill level. Come and join us if you're looking to learn wrestling or if you are interested in competing.

Conditioning for

Wrestling

'You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win'.

Since wrestling is a combat sport based around grappling, it requires high levels of aerobic and anaerobic capacity. High aerobic capacity boosts recovery during and after a match, while high anaerobic lactic capacity promotes better performance during the match. Wrestling matches can be grueling, so endurance is extremely important for wrestlers. If an athlete lacks this attribute, he or she will quickly run out of energy against fierce opponents.

House of Wrestling offers private and small group wrestling conditioning session to improve your wrestling performance.
